From 4 to 6 November 2026, São Paulo, Brazil, will host the international event “Open innovation in TVET: Collaborating towards a global TVET agenda”. The event is part of UNESCO-UNEVOC’s Bridging Innovation and Learning in TVET (BILT) project and is organized in collaboration with the Brazilian National Service for Industrial Training (SENAI).
The event will bring together experts, educational institutions and industry representatives to discuss open innovation, the use of data and work-integrated learning.
Through discussions, research presentations and technical visits, the programme will promote the exchange of experiences and international cooperation to strengthen technical and vocational education and training within the global agenda beyond 2030.
This event contributes to the “Towards a Global TVET Agenda” (TGTA) initiative, which promotes international policy dialogue, peer learning and exchange on innovative approaches to TVET. TGTA is led by Germany’s Federal Ministry for Education, Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth (BMBFSFJ) and coordinated by the Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training (BIBB).
Please note: In-person participation is available only on 4 November. On 5 and 6 November, participation will be online only.
